This fellowship reinforces our belief that innovation in education must be guided by responsibility
Tech for Kids Academy (TKA) is pleased to announce that our Founding CEO, Lydet PIDOR, has been selected as a Catalyst Fellow of the EdSafe AI Alliance. This selection places TKA within a global network dedicated to advancing the safe, ethical, and responsible application of artificial intelligence in education.
Advancing Global Standards
The EdSafe AI Alliance Fellowship brings together leaders from across the sectors of education, policy, and technology. The cohort focuses on collaboratively addressing the opportunities and risks associated with AI in learning environments.
Through this role, TKA aims to strengthen its alignment with international AI safety frameworks. Additionally, the fellowship provides a platform for TKA to contribute unique insights from Cambodia, ensuring that perspectives from emerging education systems are represented in global dialogues.
“This fellowship reinforces our belief that innovation in education must be guided by responsibility,” said Lydet PIDOR, Founder and CEO of Tech for Kids Academy. “As AI becomes more present in classrooms, our priority is to ensure it empowers learners, supports educators, and safeguards future generations.”
Tech for Kids Academy is committed to applying the knowledge gained from this fellowship directly to the ground level. We will integrate these key learnings into our ongoing programs regarding digital literacy, AI education, and responsible technology adoption. This initiative ensures that our students, teachers, and institutional partners across Cambodia benefit from the latest global standards in educational safety.
