Transforming into confident creators and changemakers.
This week, Tech for Kids Academy (TKA) is officially on the ground in Japan, participating in the E-DISC Innovate Bridge 2026 from April 26 to May 1 2026. Led by the Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA) in strategic collaboration with JETRO and SusHi Tech Tokyo, this gathering serves as a premier platform for cross-border technological and educational advancement.
Underscoring the profound regional significance of this event, Prime Minister Takaichi, the Prime Minister of Japan will be delivering special remarks, highlighting the highest levels of government commitment to fostering innovation, digital economy growth, and international collaboration between Japan and ASEAN.
For TKA, being selected to participate in this high-level dialogue is a critical milestone. We are here representing Cambodia's growing tech-education sector and advancing our core mandate: ensuring that the future of digital education remains firmly human-centered.
Bridging ASEAN Realities with Japan’s Tech Ecosystem
As artificial intelligence and automation fundamentally reshape the global workforce, education systems are under immense pressure to adapt. Millions of students across Asia still lack early access to the digital and entrepreneurial skills required to participate
in this new economy.
Tech for Kids Academy was built to directly address this gap. Our presence in Tokyo is an opportunity to showcase how Cambodia is tackling these challenges through innovative educational models. Rather than treating technology as an isolated subject, TKA integrates AI literacy, coding, and entrepreneurship with ethics and real-world problem-solving. Through project-based learning aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and personalized AI-supported teaching, we are successfully transforming Cambodian youth from passive digital consumers into confident creators and changemakers.
Having validated this model through extensive government pilot programs and public school partnerships back home, we are now taking these insights to the global stage.
Throughout the course of the E-DISC Innovate Bridge and SusHi Tech Tokyo events, our leadership team is actively engaging in bilateral discussions with Japanese corporations, policymakers, and innovation leaders. We are exploring joint research and development initiatives, assessing opportunities to localize advanced Japanese ed-tech tools for the ASEAN market, and seeking to build long-term bridges between our regions.
The exchange of knowledge here is mutual. We bring deep, on-the-ground insights from one of Southeast Asia's fastest-growing education markets, while seeking to integrate Japan’s rigorous quality standards and technological depth into our curriculum.
We are actively expanding our network of strategic partners. To investors, technology firms, and development organizations attending SusHi Tech Tokyo, or those following the event globally, we invite you to meet with us. If your institution shares our vision of building a digitally capable, ethically grounded, and future-ready workforce, we welcome the opportunity to explore how we can collaborate.
