The world we live in is changing rapidly, and artificial intelligence (AI) is one of the main driving forces behind this transformation. From the way we work and study to the way we play and entertain ourselves, AI has become and continues to be a part of our daily lives. Amidst this fast-paced evolution, an important question arises for all of us—students, parents, and leaders alike: how can we prepare ourselves to build our future alongside this technology?

Hour of AI was created to respond to the growing need for building awareness of the fundamentals of artificial intelligence (AI) while simultaneously learning computer science. It serves as an important first step in equipping young people with essential skills to keep pace with technological developments today and in the future.

At Tech for Kids Academy, our participation in this movement aligns closely with our educational vision. It is a concrete application of our core mission: “to nurture creators, not just consumers of technology.” We firmly believe that for the next generation to lead effectively, they must not only learn how to use technology but also understand how it works, how it is created, and, most importantly, how to use it responsibly.

During the Hour of AI on November 8, 2025, our students actively engaged in short projects and hands-on activities. They directly explored how AI operates behind the games and applications they are familiar with.

This experience is particularly valuable because it allows students to see technology from a new perspective, helping them start thinking about how to transform their creative ideas into solutions for real problems in their communities and society. Students clearly understood that AI does not operate on its own; instead, they are the ones guiding and directing this powerful tool through their creativity and the data they provide.

A responsible creator’s mindset is one of the most important skills for the 21st century. Our goal through programs like Hour of AI is to prepare the next generation to become leaders, not merely users, in this new era of technology.
