Technovation Girls Cambodia x Future Digital Talents 2025 National Competition Event Successfully Concluded, Showcasing the Amazing Capability of Youth in Building Cambodia's Digital Future

Technovation Girls Cambodia x Future Digital Talents would like to inform the public, parents, guardians, teachers, and all technology enthusiasts that the Technovation Girls Cambodia x Future Digital Talents 2025 National Competition event was successfully and brilliantly concluded today at the Cambodia Academy of Digital Technology (CADT). This meaningful event took place under the high presidency of Her Excellency Dr. Kim Sethany, Secretary of State, Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport, the distinguished representative of His Excellency Dr. Hang Chuon Naron, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Education, Youth and Sport, and His Excellency Dr. Sou Visithy, Secretary of State, Ministry of Post and Telecommunications, the distinguished representative of His Excellency Dr. Chea Vandeth, Minister of Post and Telecommunications, as well as the participation of leaders from both ministries, teachers, mentors, guardians, and over 300 students.

The Technovation Cambodia program has been running for 11 years, having built a strong foundation in training and supporting over 3000 girls in the technology sector. For the year 2025, in the name of the Technovation Girls Cambodia x Future Digital Talents program, the program has significantly expanded its scope to provide participation opportunities for youth of both genders to learn, develop capabilities, and solve social problems together. Beyond knowledge in the technology field and digital skills, this program has significantly contributed to building Cambodian youth by supporting and strengthening entrepreneurship, promoting the implementation of extracurricular activities, as well as essential skills that respond to the progress in the era of digital technology and artificial intelligence such as problem-solving, collaboration, teamwork, creating new innovative ideas, and self-study, among others. It is these skills that help transform Cambodian youth into valuable human capital in the 21st century.

The success of this 2025 event is due to the commitment, hard work, and amazing talent of students from Phnom Penh City and various provinces across the country. In this national competition event, attendees witnessed firsthand 15 admirable technology projects, which are the achievements of the effort, learning, and creativity throughout the entire training period. These projects not only demonstrated the technical skills and creativity of the students but also also showed their deep understanding of social problems and their ability to create practical solutions with positive impact on the community through technology.

Among these talented and highly committed teams, the winning teams of the Technovation Girls Cambodia x Future Digital Talents 2025 National Competition have been selected:

  • Team MNRR received the National Champion award
    • Project: Koma
    • Description: Mobile application supporting speech development for children with autism through gamified learning, therapy resources, consultations, and daily routine help.
  • Team Anakut received the National Young Entrepreneur award (Junior High Level)
    • Project: Anakut
    • Description: An application that helps high school graduates find internships and explore Cambodian universities that match their goals, experience, and location—guiding them toward the right major and future.
  • Team Takor Girls received the National Young Entrepreneur award (Primary Level)
    • Project: Learn_Khmer_Alphabet
    • Description: This educational app helps children aged 1–3 learn Khmer letters, vowels, and numbers through sound and visuals—offering a fun alternative to YouTube or Facebook.
  • People Choice Award: Team supersolver
    • Project: FarmEz
    • Description: A team using tech to support farmers in animal husbandry. Our app offers educational content, market updates, task reminders, vet contacts, and expert guidance—helping farmers improve animal care.

This national competition event, therefore, is a crucial platform that allows the public to attend in person and witness the amazing capability of Cambodian youth, who come from all directions across the country. Your presence was a tremendous encouragement for all the students who have worked very hard throughout the year to showcase their technology projects.

This program was made successful with the support of MoEYS Cambodia, Ministry of Post and Telecommunications, organized by Tech for Kids Academy and co-organized by 606 Digital and Education and Future Abroad under the sponsorship of CBRD fund, location support from Cambodia Academy of Digital Technology - CADT and American University of Phnom Penh, and media partners CC Times and Kiripost as well.
