Tech for Kids Academy (TKA) has been officially selected as a participant in the E-DISC Innovate Bridge Programme 2026, led by the Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA) in collaboration with JETRO and SusHi Tech Tokyo.

As part of the programme, TKA will join an on-site innovation and market discovery immersion in Japan from 26 April to 1 May 2026, engaging with Japanese corporates, policymakers, investors, and innovation leaders. The selection recognizes TKA’s innovative solution, regional relevance, and long-term vision to build future-ready generations through technology, AI literacy, and entrepreneurship education.

Why This Matters for Asia

Across Asia and beyond, education systems are under pressure to adapt to rapid technological change. While AI and automation are reshaping economies, millions of students still lack early access to the digital, entrepreneurial, and human skills required to thrive in the future of work.

Tech for Kids Academy was founded to address this gap—by embedding technology and AI education with humanity, ethics, and problem-solving, rather than treating digital skills as isolated or purely technical subjects.

TKA’s approach integrates:

• Project-based learning aligned with SDGs and ESG priorities
• Personalized AI-supported learning, where every student can learn at their own pace
• Entrepreneurship, communication, and human skills as core competencies

This model has already been validated through government pilots, school partnerships, teacher upskilling programs, and regional competitions across Cambodia and Southeast Asia, with growing interest from international partners.

Participation in E-DISC Innovate Bridge 2026 marks a strategic step for TKA’s next phase of growth.

Through the programme, TKA aims to:

• Explore joint research and development with Japanese education, AI, and technology companies
• Assess collaboration and localization opportunities for Japan and ASEAN markets
• Engage with Japanese investors and corporate innovation arms aligned with education, ESG, and human capital development
• Build long-term bridges between ASEAN education innovation and Japan’s advanced technology ecosystem

The programme provides a unique platform for mutual learning—where Japanese partners can better understand ASEAN’s fast-growing education markets, and ASEAN innovators can benefit from Japan’s depth in technology, quality standards, and institutional partnerships.
