We remain committed to our position of utilizing our technical expertise and experience to actively participate in building an inclusive and sustainable digital education ecosystem in the region.

As the technical and implementing partner of the "Digital Skills Learning Program," the Tech for Kids Academy team is honored to have completed a meaningful mission by co-organizing and implementing a three-day Digital Master Teacher training session (Training of Trainers) from January 29th to 31st, 2026. This initiative serves to prepare nineteen new target school locations across fourteen provinces for the 2025-2026 academic year.

This training session was not merely about essential digital technical skills; it also incorporated principles of quality assurance, teacher capacity strengthening, and specialized teaching methodologies for digital skill classrooms. Building a digital foundation for Cambodian students is not just about teaching them how to use technology, but rather about cultivating their ability to think critically and solve problems creatively to prepare them for a digital future.

This program is a visionary initiative by the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications, under the leadership of His Excellency Chea Vandeth, Minister of Post and Telecommunications. The mission has been implemented through the direct leadership of His Excellency So Visothy, Secretary of State and Chairman of the Working Group for the Preparation of Digital Skill Classrooms, with the goal of strengthening Cambodia’s human capital within the context of the digital economy.

To ensure that teachers from the nineteen target schools across fourteen provinces and cities can effectively transfer knowledge to their students, we organized a training program specifically tailored to the Cambodian context, focusing on the following key areas:

  • Core Educational Technology Tools (EdTech Tools): Utilizing coding platforms such as Code.org and Scratch to foster coding skills and Computational Thinking, as well as using Canva for creative digital content design.
  • Teaching Pedagogy: Implementing the "I do, We do, You do" teaching method and "Backward Planning" to ensure that teaching is targeted and highly effective.
  • Classroom Management: Strategies for managing students in computer laboratories and providing digital safety education to protect children from various online risks.

Following the training session, we are proud of the tangible results achieved, which reflect the quality of the training:

  • Significant Growth in Knowledge: Pre-test and Post-test results indicated that the understanding level of digital teachers increased by approximately 18%. This is a positive sign confirming that our participants have gained a solid foundation to transfer knowledge further.
  • High Teaching Confidence: According to surveys, 96.55% of participants have "High" and "Highest" confidence in their readiness to start teaching students at their respective target schools.
  • Maximum Satisfaction: It is a point of pride that all participating teachers expressed great satisfaction with the organization, lesson content, and training techniques provided by our team.

The success of this project is a testament to the close collaboration between the strategic leadership and support of the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications and the technical teaching team of Tech for Kids Academy. This collaboration has created a sustainable and high-value public-private partnership model, ensuring that every resource invested will return the highest positive impact—from the master teachers to the students and the entire national community.

Tech for Kids Academy is proud to have contributed to this vital mission. We remain committed to our position of utilizing our technical expertise and experience to actively participate in building an inclusive and sustainable digital education ecosystem in the region.

For government institutions or development partners with a shared mission to promote quality and sustainable digital education, the Tech for Kids Academy team is always ready for discussions and collaborations to jointly build a strong education ecosystem for the future of Cambodia.
